Our Tour Guide Arianny was EXCEPTIONAL and EXCELLENT! The horse trainers were tremendous and arranged our ride with both beginners and experienced riders. After riding on a trail throughout the property, we then transitioned to zip lining. We were briefed and then went to the platforms for the ride of our lifetime! Excellent & safe! Thoroughly enjoyed this portion, and then it was time for lunch and shopping. Perfect ending to the excursion, and we couldn't be happier with the experience! Great Job, Mega Adventures!

We signed in with him and off … More to an adventure we went. The truck/bus is completely open, allowing you to truly experience the beauty of the land. We visited a little school and I highly recommend bringing candy for the kids. They gave us hugs and it was truly an amazing experience to see first hand how local schools run on a daily basis. Next, off to visit a true local’s home. It was a unique place and I was able to get a close up view of her beautiful garden. We learned about current events as well as how the social platforms work. We learned about families in the area and how they build their homes and why so many are small and why some are so big. Once we got off the mountain, we got to see downtown and learn many facts about the area as well as the country. Our tour guide and bus driver, Daniel and Eduardo, were great and Daniel kept us laughing and engaged in learning about the area. We then took a good ride to their location for a delicious lunch as well as a quick tour of all the different fruits that grow in the country. They have a cute gift shop and got a free sample of their delicious hot chocolate (we bought some)We even got to taste real Coca Cola made with real sugar. My daughter got her photo taken with the resident macaw(photo attached) The entire time, I felt safe and secure and not once uneasy. The locals are very friendly as everyone waves and smiles at you as you pass by. I highly recommend doing this and would love to do it again.

  We did the mega truck adventure, and it was about five hours. It was very impressive to see how much they were able to include in such a short time. You see so much. We brought candy for the kids and they all really enjoyed it. We went during the summer so school was out, but we were still The kids and their homes. We even stopped at The mega adventure, headquarters, and had an amazing meal.

  We rode on a jungle truck through the Dominican Countryside where we experienced traditional local housing, stopped by a local school to see the children, saw a tarantula, held a parrot, rode through the city & by the beach, had an authentic Dominican lunch and SO MUCH more!
  Our tour guide, Eduardo (Eddy) & driver, Bolivar were amazing!! They gave great information about the land, were safe and cautious while letting us have a good time, answered our questions, and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way!
  I cannot recommend them enough - if you do the jungle truck tour, you won't be disappointed! Just book it 🙂

  They also made sure we stayed hydrated because it was HOT! The food was delicious.

  We booked this excursion as part of our cruise on the Carnival Mardi Gras. We were celebrating our son's 16th and gave him the choice of what to do and lo and behold, this is what he … More chose. I'm not in the best shape so I was a little worried about the ziplining portion, but this was so much better than I expected it to be. The whole staff was amazing - making sure we were okay along the way and were personable, helpful, and fun. They gave us water half way through the course (7 lines in total) and the photographer always had fun getting us to pose. The horseback riding was an experience. It was so nice to go through the terrain of the mountains and see the beautiful views. The horses took us through a small creek and through a little section of the village. The staff made sure to stay with us and keep the horses on track if they veered a little off. The lunch we were offered at the end was DELICIOUS! Fresh fruit, beans, rice, and meats. Once lunch was over, we were able to shop in the little store for a while which had some nice, local made items. Gelsy and Carlos were amazing and so incredibly helpful. Gelsy had us laughing and was so interactive. We've done ziplining excursions before, but this by far was the best one. I would go with Mega Adventures a million times over.

  My girlfriend and a few friends recently went on a tour from Mega Adventures while on our cruise to DR. Our tour guide, Misael, was super knowledgeable and friendly. Him and the driver, … More Juan Carlos, were very nice and polite and took us to some very cool places for our 4 hour tour. The lunch served with the tour was also fantastic. I would absolutely recommend this if you’re looking for a tour of Puerto Plata and some of the countryside. All photos included are from the tour
